Poetry & Spoken Word *
As a spoken word artist and writer, Jasmin Namondo explores themes of memory, identity, and the emotional weight of becoming. Since her first performance in Amsterdam in 2019, she has understood poetry as a way to make sense of her inner world. A space for reflection, questioning, and connection.
Her work is shaped by lived experience and a continuous search for understanding. Through her performances, she reflects on what it means to find one’s own path and to arrive at a deeper sense of self. Honest and personal in tone, her poetry invites audiences into moments of vulnerability, recognition, and shared reflection.
Ideally speaking
Ideally Speaking is the debut EP by Jasmin Namondo a spoken word journey through the fragmented terrain of identity, told in three interconnected parts: the deal, Idea of her, and the I-deal.
The work blurs the boundaries between memory, emotion, and self-perception, exploring what happens when the self speaks in multiple voices. Released on May 25, 2025, the six-minute EP combines poetry and music and is available on all major streaming platforms, accompanied by lyric visuals.
