About

Jasmin Namondo U.
(b. 1998, Deutschland)

works at the intersection of art, culture, organisation, communication and community-based practice. She develops, coordinates and supports artistic, cultural, educational and participatory projects from the initial idea through to implementation. Her work centres on language, connection and collaborative processes. Intersectional, anti-discrimination and community-oriented perspectives are integral to her practice.

Through initiatives such as Impulse Poetry and Intent Out, she creates platforms for artistic expression, exchange and collaboration. She creates spaces that bring people and diverse perspectives together, foster open dialogue and support marginalised people in expressing themselves and increasing their visibility.

As a poet and spoken-word artist, Jasmin Namondo explores memory, emotion, identity and presence. Since 2019, she has presented her work on stages in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Cologne, Kaiserslautern and Kassel. She uses language as an artistic medium to explore personal and social experiences and create moments of reflection and connection.

Jasmin Namondo holds a Psychology degree and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Management.
